kitchen-coquette bistronomy

Kitchen Coquette, my first cookbook, was released in November 2011 with Allen & Unwin. It is a situation based book – a fun guide for those random moments in life when food is the only answer. From first dates, awkward moments, broken hearts, and more. It even has the odd joke or two. And more than 150 cracking recipes.

Kitchen Coquette won the 2011 Best First Cookbook (Australia) as part of the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.

Bistronomy French Food Unbound, is a collaborative cookbook, which spans the world showcasing more than 100 recipes from some of the world’s most exciting chefs. It captures the vital elements of bistronomy: the democratic spirit of generous, affordable hospitality, together with the imaginative reworking of classic fare built on quality ingredients and technique.

It takes a look inside the world of the bistronomy restaurant, terroir, wine and the workings of the bistronomy chefs. It details the history of bistronomy – the meeting of gastronomy and bistro, and how this beguiling combination makes casual dining a very serious proposition with an unwavering focus on seasonality and creativity.
